I am a licensed psychologist who is passionate about working with pregnant and postpartum families, infants, and young children. I have been providing Infant Mental Health therapy for 15 years and have been working in the field of mental health for over 20 years. I believe deeply that reaching families early can help prevent so many struggles later on for the parent and child and in their relationship. I have specialized training in perinatal mental health (pregnancy and postpartum), Infant Mental Health, Child Parent Psychotherapy (treating infants and young children with trauma), and psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapies for adults. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a trauma treatment for older children and adults. I continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing trainings related to working with LGBTQ+ families and youth. I have had the opportunity to connect with local firefighters and completed their Clinician Awareness Training to help me better understand their and their family’s lives.

I have worked with children on the autism spectrum in home and in preschools; with young adults at a college psychological center; families in community mental health; teens in an inpatient hospital; and for over six years, families at a women and children’s homeless shelter. Because of my diverse professional background, I have had the opportunity to see life through the eyes of so many people with different life struggles and circumstances. I have developed a deep appreciation for people’s strength and resilience even in the most dire of times.
